My bookish interest began with the likes of Ursula Le Guin, J. R. R. Tolkien, and Robert Jordan. Around the age of eleven, I decided I would write my first epic trilogy.
Making that dream a reality took longer than planned, but the years of trying came in handy to a bilingual growing up in Greece.
As tricky as life was, my English developed faster than my Greek, thanks to theatre as much as literature. My experience and taste in books grew too.
Fast forward to my relocation to the UK and ultimately finding my way to Norwich and UEA for a BA in English Literature. My interest in the written word turned into a passion.
After graduating in 2019, I started helping fellow authors through beta reading and book reviews, which I still do to this day. It's not just because I love good stories. I believe that creatives should look out for each other and keep art alive.
My current path has turned to psychology, an asset in my character-focused storytelling. Imagination and emotion really do drive my speculative fiction, ranging from paranormal short stories to high fantasy novels.
